ola anybody no the part number/price for 312mm carriers? cant put my brakes off anymore there fooked :-( and also theres a blaukpunkt 6 cd changer in my boot if anyone wants it you can save it from the bin it works but i changed my stereo 1st day i had the car so never gonna use it.. seriously cant be arsed to get you the cable out though its getin snipped haha

You can get a brand new pair on ebay for £120 , I think thats cheaper than dealer price

my mate works at dealer he said £165.00 each  :undecided: and if i put the 312mm discs on front does it matter if i keep the standard setup on the back??? or will that cause uneven brakeing??

the rears dont do much anyway really I dont see it being an issue as many here do the 312mm on the front and leave the rears

should be as im changin discs n pads all round anyway just didnt wannna pay more for the carriers than i do for the brakes haha mintex discs n pads all round £100.00 on  e bay that seem right?? :-/

right someone help please back brakes have gave in major scrapeage noise :-( im doin them a.s.a.p but does someone no which redstuff pads are gonna fit?? theres like 2 million sets for a golf dont wanna get the wrong ones its 2001 aum!

would not bother spending cash on redstuff pads for the rear , I dont think you would remotely notice a difference. For the rear put good quality oem stuff on and if you want better performance spend money on good front pads.

can get brembo plain discs for about 25 quid and mintex/pagid/ferrodo pads for about 20

whats the standard size rear discs?? 256mm or 232mm??? euro car parts have got rear 256mm vented and rear solid 232mm what size do i need?? :-/

232 solid unless you have upgraded or have an anniversary. Brembo discs on ebay and amazon
