If it was me....I would stay with in the oem market. I'm due to take delivery of a GTD soon and they come with 17" seattles as standard but I've managed to get some monza shadow II's for it....

I believe most on here wud say the same or find some nice replica's but with reps they tend to start to look nasty after a few months....

This is only my opinion of course....

I would say none of them and go OEM.

I have to agree with Scott.

Anything other than OEM (with the exception of genuine BBS or VWR) will spoil the look of a Mk6

Sort of agree with that, there are some nice non-BBS wheels out there but I think BBS suit the Golf to a tee.

If you want bigger than the 17's I go for 18" OEM wheels.

I'd agree with the above. I would add another option "stick with OEM". I suspect that will be the poll winner.

OEM all the way,  BBS are the only exception but even thenI would still prefer anything oem.

Funnily enough I have a set of Monza's to sell soon

I guess I'm OK then...with my 2 x sets of 19" VWR, 2 x sets of 18" VWR and 2 x sets of 18" BBS

You are a very wicked boy  it's unfair that you have 4 sets of VWR's and I have none

The Monza's don't look half bad on an A3. Its nice to see them on another car other than a Golf as I'm getting a bit bored of them now.

I think these are a lovely rim and look class on the GTD.

^+1, I've got Charlestons on my GTD. Might be biased but I think they look good and they're easy to clean too.

Yes, they are OEM but not the standard GTD wheels. Seattle Shadows (17") are standard fitment on the GTD and the Charlestons are the 18" options.

Not that keen on them to be fair

To the original question if you want to change the wheels do it, it's your car as long as you like it that's all that matters

Can't make my mind up on them, really like, them, then see them on another car, and think naaaaah. Also like Oamnyts, but there are so many variations, I can't finr the right 19" part number to fit the offset. Also locally all OEM 19" are over GBP2000 a set, which is more than a little rough...
