Title: mk4 tdi battery drain, ccm or new clocks required any vag coder in s.wales?
Post by: huwgarms on 09 February 2012, 18:44
hi as above
i have a small electrical drain, we have re done the connections inside the boot near the rear tailgaite etc - car is v plate mk4 tdi, and has been with auto electrician for the last two days, hes narrowed it down to either the clocks or ccm unit, removing either prevents the drain?,
the ccm, im guessing is connected to the clocks in some form at some point , im guessing new clocks first then maybe new ccm, may even change both, seen some on the bay for £25 ish each, just then need to find someone local to code them? any ideas in wales whos about? also indication of costs for each on a budget and at the min im running about with no fuse 14 fited and no alarm etc

ive got the code for the ccm unit and theres one on the bay havent got the code for the clocks though as the dash is back together now for use?
