Title: coolant temp sender prices

Hi all,
Just rang VW because I am replacing the plastic housing piece that houses the coolant temp sender.................VW 'they are £35 not including the o ring'
Seems VERY steep

Yup that's about right unfortunately mate :sad:

You could go with an ebay special but they tend to be hit and miss

Bear in mind mine was 12 years old before it needed changing :wink:

just buy from specialist or vagparts site cost me £8 quid with oring about 2 years ago and still is going fine  :wink:

dont get off ebay tho :grin:

i rang eurocarparts today and they £18 plus vat as i need new one
