Well had my golf since Nov, its a ajm so assume it is 115 model, my query is that it seems very lame in first and second, too much beans and I get wheelspin, not enough its so slow to get going, turbo seems slow to going also, not really pulling till mid 2k. Car is sitting at almost 150k miles and wondering if inlet being full of sh!te might be causing issues or if my turbo is at end of life, as I also get limp mode fairly often, was thinking of getting foam oven cleaner but none of the supermarkets we have here have it :-z

When was it last serviced mate? Maybe give it a full service, run some red ex through it. Havr you had it scanned for fault codes? Could be faulty maf meter.
-
Been serviced when I got it along with redex,I always do that with anew car, not throwing up any errors for maf.

Vacuum leak? dodgy N75?
-
How can I check for n75 faulty or not?
-
The easiest way it to swap it with someone else's if you can.
Probably worth while giving it a blow out too with some cleaner.
another thought - have you checked the vacuum pipes? are they the standard rubber ones or have they been swapped for some silicone ones, as silicone ones are prone to collapsing.
