Title: Lay flat wiper
Post by: Judderi on 20 May 2005, 10:18
Hi guys and girls.

The bodyshop are having a little trouble with the rear wiper. Its not parking in the right place. What needs to be done in order for the rear wiper to be laid flat. Im sure its been asked before but the search doesent work and i cant be bothered trawling through millions of posts. It used to lay flat before it was taken apart.

as you look at it from underneath

in the off position the crank/arm of the wiper motor has to go back on itself. i.e. the small arm points to 9 oclock and then the big arm (connecting to spindle) goes back pointing to 3 o'clock.

then refit the actual wiper arm so that it lies perfectly flat
