hi all, im new to the site, im a mk1 guy really  :rolleyes: but thought i would join as my mk1 cabby is just came off the road for major modding and rebuild,

this is my new mk3 daily for the next x amount of months  :grin:

i brought it for the mrs a while back and started to do it up, i prep it and painted a really nice baby blue colour but relised something was wrong when the paint was still wet 5 days later, the guy gave me the wrong hardener :angry:

i lost my rag a bit with the car "hence the dents" and just gun washed it over , it looked awfal, the mrs refused to drive it so i brought her a new car and painted the golf  this sh!ty green colour, its machine paint i had in the garage and the finnish was pants, so now its my daily work whore, i might repaint it again when my mk1 is finnish as the engine and running gear are mint, then again i might just rat it :grin:

anyway liking the site and might turn up at some meets in the near future if there are any
