Hi everyone,
Ok here's the next thing I'm pondering about
I have questions about the compatibility of my Iphone 4s with the Golf GTI Ed 35 I have on order. If you have answers for them it'd be much appreciated. Ok here goes:
1. Is the Bluetooth Preparation in the car fully compatible with my Iphone 4S?
2. Will the MDI connector charge my Iphone 4s whilst connected?
3. is the RNS510 fully compatible the the Iphone 4S - in other words can I select (using the RNS510 toughscreen) & play music through the RNS510 which is present on my Iphone
Hope that all makes sense.
Thanks Very much

The answer to question 2 is YES, not sure about the others as I don't have Bluetooth with my RNS.

Yes to all. The bluetooth never worked in the past when it was rsap but they changed it. Music is all fine and it charges.

think it depends on which module. I have an 9W3 module and an iphone4. I can search through contacts and dial on the RNS, as well as answer calls. I can see who is calling n the display. mine does not support Bluetooth streaming, but when plugged into the MDI slot, I have full control of the iphone along with steering wheel control. it does charge too.
I assume the later modules would have Bluetooth streaming
