Title: rare wheels help can't make my mind up

picked up these wheels at bristol last weekend

they are very very rare never seen a set in the flesh before alloy centre caps and would shine up great

brace your self











their three spoke :embarassed:

I actually think they look good on the mk2 but as Dizzie says, the ones in your sig are better.  :smiley:

Go on - Dare to be different. I actually quite like them cause of the Old Skool dish and the fact that they are so rare. Unlike the others I prefer them to your sig wheels

there kinda cool in an old skool way, but three spokes aren't good imo

well look at the mullet that was so 'un-cool' a few years back and now look at them..... everwhere! so go for it, it may bring them back in to fashion! what goes around comes around!  :grin:

They look like the 3 spoke SAAB alloys. Not sure they would suit a VW though

maybe if this was still 1984 or something, tri spokes are the official no no in car styling as far as i'm concerned!

Hehe  :grin: this is an interesting set of views lol, My m8 had some 3 spokes on his jetta (that was bad enough  :tongue: but they looked alot better black)

Possibly sell them on tbh??

yeah and they look sh!t too, there is a reason people take the piss out of them so having one nowadays just proves you care more about *ahem* 'fashion'  rather than style. give it a year or two and they'll all be wondering why they had sh!t hair once again!

alloy wheel design jumped years ahead when the cad cam design system show the designers where the stresses would likely be when they designed a wheel. modern wheels are a credit to cad cam and modern times
why go back in time move forward man sell em on and get some nice new state of the art shiny ones
