I hate it Jay, this is the ill proportioned car that should have had Chip Foose shot at first light!
Loved it before I saw it in the flesh some years back, at the Volo Muscle Car Museum in Chicago...
In my opinion, what make the car, are the Halibrand Cobra wheels, and the choice of colour
The rest you can keep

Knew you'd hate it  What about the new GT500's?
I think it's the out of whack proportion's that give it character and define it as an epicly cool car in my books, it's spectacular car and I'd love to own one

Love that Motorhome, its the sort of thing you could do the "Long Way Round" in. I would certainly take it on a trek over Eastern Europe/Russia....
Now I actually like my older cars, and am not too fussed about the old supercar status thing...

You ever driven a 335? The smallest pedal area i have ever seen. I gave up as i just kept mashing the brake down with the accelerator.
If you have a shoe size above 7 forget it

They designed it like that, so you can gas and brake at the same time non?

Well, if we are going fot concept designs, this has to be my favourite of all time!

I wore these and the left part of my right shoe kept catching the brake out of corners, was so annoying!

cant be any worse than 106/saxos
I owned a saxo just prior to driving the F355, yes it is.
You see the accelerator pedal in that pic, to the right is solid, so your right edge of you foot is on the right edge of the pedal, not slighty over it each side (as in the pedal is dead center to your foot) so your foot is more left than you would like, with nothing you can do about it (you cant push the accelerator down otherwise) and your foot catches the brake

I had a 355 Spider for a couple of months, and never had a problem, even with my size 11's

All Hail the ultimate classic! If i had one it would be the same as this, completely identical, it would be my daily, i'd never wash it or pollish it, i'd let the paint fade and the leather crack, the engine would be greasy with a hint of noiseyness, a tappety noise not a knocking noise, as you pull away hard a medium puff of blue smoke would gush out of the exhaust but gradually running clear as you nail it off into the distance. It will steam up every time it rains and the missus would rant at me every time we go for a drive "when are you going to get a proper car" to which my reply will be "never". It'll fail every mot on something minor but i'll keep it forever and leave it to my son when i die. Ladies and gentleman, i present to you, The Aston Martin DB2/4 3.0 litre Saloon 1954

Nah, the BRM's were so overengineered and overthought that they never worked half as well as they should have done and were too large and heavy compared to the Lotus and Eagle.

Stillborn race-car - the Jaguar XJ13. Quad-cam V12 gorgeousness.
...and for the completely bonkers, the Amercian-built Vector W8 Twin-Turbo. Ridiculously powerful, aircraft technology but it was hopelessly unreliable and never lived up to the makers claims. However, look at it!! It's 80s car porn!
And for some early 90s nuttiness, the Cizeta-Moroder V16T - designed by the same Marcello Gandini that worked for Lamborghini. It had a transverse V16 engine (actually two V8s joined together). They only made 11...

I love these old pics... 63 Corvette looking very much the part! this car still has its split rear screen (look carefully) and has its stainless steel "Rocker panels" removed, probably to reduce weight, and give the side pipes some clearance and extra ventilation, and scoops on the front added to cool the brakes, and wheel arches trimmed to clear the Firestone's
Wheels are American Racing Equipment (ARE) Mags... I'd have this car over any Lambo or Ferrari

Well my dream requires a bit of a preamble... so please indulge me.
I've always dreamt of a beautiful, one of a kind country house. Built in a sort of square [ ] design with each bracket representing a building. One of the buildings would be my home. The other would be a private garage with an enclosed wash bay and 4 spaces for my collection of dream cars. Between the buildings would be a small gravel courtyard in which I'd park my daily car - the one I'd nip to the shops in and generally potter about in. So that gives me 5 slots for dream cars. Over the years, I've spent much time deciding on these spaces, although 2 of the cars have been firm space holders almost as long as I can remember.
The first car was only added to my dream garage around a year or so ago when I encountered it driving past me in Glasgow. Up until that point I had only ever seen it parked or in pictures and it didn't do anything for me. But driving amongst traffic, growling and prowling, I knew there and then I wanted one.
The Aston Martin Vanquish.
Similarly, my number 2 slot is also a car that was not added until recently but thanks to Top Gear's review in the Black Mountains, the AMG's "Dawn Callers" have secured a place in my fantasy garage. I've always loved AMG's. They are the proverbial cats amongst the pigeons in the Mercedes lineup. They are quite simply mad and yet they are so, so good. And of the AMG's the Black is the best. It's got the usual AMG perks (sound, performance and Mercedes quality) but it's also special... in a way I can't quite put a finger on. And it looks good. Anywhere.
Parked alongside these two is one of my all time space holders. The 911. For me the 911 is best when pure. No splitters, no turbos, no spoilers. Just beauty.
And last but not least, the GTI - the dream that has become reality and my other all time space holder. For those who say never meet your heroes. I met the GTI. And it has been better than the dream.
And after all that, there is one place left. The GTI takes the place in my courtyard, so there is one spot left for a car in my dream garage.
The last car is the complete opposite to anything I would buy in real life and breaks almost all of my 'perfect car' rules. And yet it is the car that gets me the most excited. It is the car that the mere thought of driving would send a tingle down my spine. It's the car that, if I had only one drive left in my life, I would run to without so much as a glimpse cast towards the others.
The Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-SV
(http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTWnhTyxAB50J6fXcKL11NDZrwokz2PxnFz_vbp91ClGu0Nwl0Pbw)
These are my dreams.
