Title: Forge Turbo inlet pipe collapsing?
Post by: Rob.S VW on 06 February 2012, 21:18
hey, i have a forge turbo inlet pipe fitted in the car, was already on the car when i bought it, so im guessing its a fairly old one. when i fitted my 008p the other week, i noticed the pipe seemed a bit soft, then thought, could it be collapsing under vaccum  and then today while i was having the front suspension done, i checked the pipe at the tubo, and it was loose, so tried tightning it and the pipe was all soft and squidgy and wouldnt clamp properly, has anyone experienced this before, i know it happens on stock pipe, was this a fault with older Forge pipes?

forge pipe should not go like that mate.. silicone pipes normally have wire runing through them which there to stop them collapsing.. prob a sh!ty copy pipe ..replace it proper stuff will be fine
