Title: will these wings fit on??

Yes but I think they are different where they meet the sill, so will need mods.

This.. however not easy to mod although I think it's easier to flare a tintop wing to fit a cabby than it is the other way round. Better off getting cabby wings which aren't in too short a supply second hand.

sold my cabby a few years ago and looks like i`m getting her back (she`s coming home :smiley:). Its been neglected, had a replacement gearbox which whick aint the best fit, wings rusted and a bit more needed to be done.

When you say the gearbox isn't a great fit, what do you mean?

Post by: RIPP3Y on 08 February 2012, 18:14: As i no the person whh i sold the car to, i kept in touch with him and was told that it needed a new gearbox. A mk2 gearbox was installed and he was having trouble with selecting 1st gear i think. I havnt searched to see if this was the right thing to do so until i get it back im sure if it works ok :undecided:.

First thing I would check would be the linkages, are they lined up OK.. were new bushes fitted to all the rods.
