my golf has white muck around filler cap and temp gauge is hardly moving and now seems my fan is not kicking in when hot cleaned white stuff went out and done 70mile trip back again but not losing coolant??????????? help

Scan it for fault codes the temp sender or thermostat will be faulty.

As for the white Mayo could just be condensation if its not losing coolant and the car does lots of short journeys. This weather wont help.  :smiley:
