Damn, I'd be really worried about doing that on any car -- let alone a brand new Ed35!
-
Same here..
Don't think I will do anything just now..still

Leaving it will just allow contamination to get in and eventually cause more problems,
If you have a touch up pot clean the chips out best you can with some degreaser then ipa if you have it then get some paint in the chips just until you can afford to get it sorted properly,
What I did on my golf was by no means to make it perfect because it wasn't, only a respray would pretty much do that. It was purely to A: stop the crap getting in and B: to take your eyes away from the scratches and chips, up close obviously you would spot them.

Thanks for the advise, I did get a touch up pen and have coloured out the chips...not sure if I will get someone to look at re-spraying it.. :undecided:

It will happen again - don't bother with a respray
Touch it up and forget it - and this is coming from the most OCD person on the forum who won't park in busy car parks because of the f**kers who don't care about other peoples' cars!
Sh1t happens!
Wet sanding them is good but I'd wait until you've got quite a few to do, then if it goes wrong opt for a respray, no harm done! But not each time you get a chip otherwise you'll spend more time repairing the car than you do driving. Slap a bit of paint in there!

Or better yet, get to the scrappy and get a practice panel, keep trying until you perfect wet sanding and then it will be a breeze when you come to do your car

I would say i'm OCD as well...i hate the shopping car parks...spaces are tight and some people just don't care about how close they park next to you....
