anyone know how easy it is?
have a small patch of rust under the window which means the windows going to have to come out to sort it, dont really fancy paying somewere loads to do it so was thinking of doing it myself as ive repaired rust before.
and was thinking while its out i might do the boot poper/boot smooth mod. then get it all painted up.

btw i have suction cups ect to hold the window with, just wouldnt have a clue how to go about the whole removing the seels ect.

as far as i know the seals and rear window are one piece.....

It needs cutting out and rebonding afterwards, see if you can get a local glass company to do it.

ah ok, so it isnt really a DIY job then.

autoglass are a rip off, however know a lad who has a window replacing company so may slip him a few quid to take it out while i sort out rust and smooth it and re paint then get him to rebond it
