Title: Lowering springs

Hi people, picked up my Mk4 GTi 1.8t yesterday and been straight down Wheelmania for some RS4 18"s being fitted 2moro. was just wondering what lowering springs you guys would recommend? im looking to drop it 40mm. also any idea on what i should be looking to pay for both springs and fitting? cheers in advance  :smiley:

around the £80/£100 mark for the springs fitting your prob looking at about £100

Just had some boge springs fitted to mine, on 18inch alloys, taken the sh!te Ventura ones off, Ride quality is 10 times better and sits perfect.

They say -35mm but seems alot more, I paid about £95..

I paid £110 for -40mm progressively sprung eibachs.  Expensive, but that was the cheapest I could find for eibachs.  Worth it I reckon. :smiley:

Q..Does the PD150 come lowered as standard?

Q2..If not and I lower it,will my warranty go tits up??

I lowered mine ages ago, and 6 months later got my steering rack and power steering replaced under warranty.  Don't think they'll care, but I suppose it depends on the garage.
