hit a nerve there they must be mk4 owners lol. I did 6-8 mile round trip to drop a mate from work off at home cos the busses had stop and taxis wouldn't drive but ye olde faithful plowed through it all without skipping a beat. I was expecting to get stuck on the same hill as the mk4 to be honest

I managed to drive mine through thick snow and heavy snow fall to Leek last night, whilst all around us cars were being abandoned.  But we had to crash overnight at a friends as the roads became impassable.

So glad I put new Uniroyal Rainsports on the car last week, the ditchfinders I had on would have gotten me nowhere...

Its stuck now, there is a good 8 inches of the white stuff outside...

My car where it was "abandoned" last night -

And to demonstrate the depth of snow, my friends Corsa (which didn't move yesterday)

i went for a drive yesterday, went past a mk4 tdi spinning, and also a bmw stuck on a hill and i went straight past, think the snow was about 3-4" deep, only down point was when a car pulled out on me and i ended up losing grip at the front so pulled the handbrake to get the back out and drifted around the roundabout
