Recently sold a classic impreza I only had for a few months, so I could get the golf back out.
It was garaged and hadn't been run for a couple of months, started straight away on refitting the battery. Fitted a new vibratechnics rear mount which sorted the problem of the 4 branch manifolf tapping the steering rack- changed the oil/filter and took it for MOT this morning. Picked it up with new MOT certificate a couple of hours later, Taxed it, and took it for a spin!
Just wanted to share my joy of golf!

What is going on with the shut line on the bonnet to the wings?

10 mins work should sort that out, bonnet pin looks like it needs unscrewing a touch, then re setting on the rubber adjusters

Er yeah, that is pretty bad. I did have a half hearted go at the adjusters once, but im a bit slack with bodywork so long as the mechanicals are ok.
I'll try again :embarassed:
