Had a brand new shed, load of block paving, a potters wheel, an entire set of Britannia encyclopaedia's, an old Nintendo and super Nintendo, a hayter lawnmower which cost £1600 new in full working order, just needed a belt tensioner bearing which cost around the £50 mark. a pair of gates 14 foot wide made out of some hardwood that is dearer than oak, were made to order but were ordered wrong size, was told they cost the owner over £3000. nearly 400kgs of lead. amazing what some people throw away.

And proud of it!
Nah not really a pikey, I only take out of skips after asking, I don't go round in the middle of the night and help myself to everything in the garden even if it's bolted down.

Nothing wrong with it mate, i got our dyson from a skip, and some really cool lighting! Not found any nuggets like you have tho!

yeah it where i work. They have about 70+ hdtvs . There so easy to fix and they just put it in a skip .Cant wait for the next one to die. The skips like a gold mine, even pikeys come and check it everyday. But as i work there ,they can just have metal. :smug:

Made like toys used to be metal and wood no plastic in sight.

Why bother even fixing It up? it would seem at some shows rusty and neglected=much appreciation and kudo,I don't get it personally so on the other hand fix it up!

The fire place in that pic is luuurvley

I'm not going to do it up like that in going to keep the patina of it just things like the front wheel has a bolt missing and the rear wheel is a bit stiff. The handle bars are loose just make it rideable.
Cheers dude was hard to fit as it was soo heavy but defiantly worth it with the heat it gives off.

There's a skip where my unit is. I walk past it on the way to the toilets, so always look inside. To date, I have saved/rescued/pikey'd/salvaged, a brand new electric consumer unit with rcb's, two unused rolls of twin & earth cable, countless stack n store boxes, a near new one-man tow A frame, old bmxs, a vintage/retro picnic hamper, and some dexion shelving.
I can't believe some of the stuff people throw away!
