Title: removing wax

I'm fitting a bike rack to the mk4 and want to put some heli tape on the paintwork where it mounts. After guy worked his magic on the paintwork last year I have waxed the sh!t out of it so doubt the tape will stick!

It just needs removing in 4 small areas

I reckon it will stick mate...Give it a go first. But other wise clay bar the area mate, clay bars remove wax  :smiley:

yep... or a little APC of some sort on a cloth

however.. as scarr says... it should stick ok.. and the wax will help protect too
