After a bit of a frozen lock this morning, I got in the car via the passenger door. I pulled up the door pin on the drivers side to unlock, it was still a bit frozen, so stupidly I pulled harder. After a snapping sound, the door pin came up a bit too far as seen in the picture. It moves up and down but will not lock/unlock the door.
I can however still lock the door from the outside with the key.
So, what have I broken and what am I looking for when I take the door card off?
Cheers,

Probably a little white plastic "tab" that attaches to the lock.

Balls, can you replace the tab or is it a whole new lock?
Any ghetto fixes?
What's Ken got in stock...?

I replaced mine because the rods had been removed by a previous owner. Got them off someone on here though no idea whether there available from VW heritage or the like.
