Post by: simpsonstarwars on 02 February 2012, 16:27
ive just picked up a gti spoiler for £40 which i didn't think was too bad, im looking to get it painted and fitted but the only place near by would charge £160
which i thought was crazy , does anyone know of any cheaper places , or any advice if i was to do it all myself i.e what adhesive to use.

help greatly appreciated

I could get it painted and fitted for probably half of that quote but i'm in Birmingham so it's a bit far just for a spoiler for you to travel

Halfords.

- Sandpaper

- Spraycans

- No more nails

Seriously..under £30 I recon.

Flat it back and put some compound on it and you'd be none the wiser - remember it's all in the prep.

if its not knocked about and just needs a rub down i would expect to pay 60-70 quid if its just bonded on.
