Title: Removing the dash board
Post by: molegti on 02 February 2012, 16:18
Today I successfully changed the heater matrix but unfortunately didnt refit the ducting at the top. Since I had such a job getting it re-alighned refitting clip hoses etc. I really cant face the prospect of undoing it. I though it might be a better idea to pull the dash loose so I can lift it to get some clearance.

This is where im stuck and dont want to break anything (else). I've undone the two screws and the side and two near the wiper linkage. What am I missing?

There are 2 nuts inside the scuttle where the wiper motor is under the bonnet....

So four in total under the bonnet?

I've removed two kind of either side of the wipe linkage already.

There are three 8mm bolt's that attach to the brackets that are where the under trays screw into...

No there are only 2 under the bonnet

I found the ones on the soide of the dash no problem and didnt have too much bother with ones under the scuttle. Once i stop aching from doing the heater matrix ill have a look.

as eaglejam said the're are 3 others on the front you need to have the undertrays, centre console removed to help ease it out....

Coundn't find the screws but in the end the ducting went back in just using the wriggle room with having a loose dash.
