Title: golf mk4 1.6 se Gear box.......

hi guys, ive been thinking of getting one of these as a run around but after researching them online have bin put off about there supposidly weak gear boxes, sumthing to do with rivets breaking and the gearbox case breaking then oil leaking into the clutch, and it seems to be a common problem .. has anyone heard of this or is it not true many thanks! :huh:

However most will have been changed / repaired as the mk4 is so old now  :smiley:
