Hi all, I am about to buy a bonnet bra for my mk3 but it has been advertised as fitting a mk4 aswell?
Have asked and the lad said it was for a mk3 but will fit on a mk4 aswell?!
Dont want to get caught out here!
Any quick help would be great
Cheers

half agree there i don't think it looks poncey but definitely a good water trap don't put them on in the winter
-
Just don't buy it.
-
Got a pic of the one your buying?

One in my sig was crap... and i do agree... it looks and looked poncey..
i only use it for long journeys now for stone chips

Must be on the right car! (textured bumpers in my opinion)
If done RIGHT, definitely do NOT look poncy!
If NOT done RIGHT,will look worse than poncy!
MK3 and MK4 different as said before, cheap enough just to buy new,and yes,DO NOT USE WHEN WET,your bonnet WILL bubble!
Not rocket science !

Thanks for all the responses, i bought it in the end, was used once for a photo shoot and not used again so had a good buy
Will save it now for the summer on nice long trips

I was thinking of getting one not long ago but decided against it as I wanted a good one and good ones were expensive :P
what do you do in the winter then just not use it at all, or take off dry undeneith and put back on? I would of thought having to take it off kind of defeats the point of buying one in the first place

Well in the winter its constantly damp and wet which will sit under the bonnet bra all day and night and will just rot your bonnet where it is fitted!

Horrid looking things

I think that I will just use if when i go to the coast or for long drives in the summer, wont have it on the car in the Winter as people have mentioned it will be wet and turn the bonnet into a pile of rust, did try it on the car the other day and did like the look of it.
Just want the Summer to roll on now
