Wikiddd thanks waz gona get ordering keep them just incase
Will normal black spray do for spraying them or needs be tint spry?
-
if you want them the same as the anni lights then use gloss black. Make sure you take out the surround inside and give it a good going over with some 800 grade paper then spray it with some plastic primer. Spray the whole of the surround top and bottom, if you miss any chances are you'll see it through the lens once it's back together. Are yuo looking at spraying the parts around the reflectors as well or just the surround like the anni lights?
-
No planing spray all off it inside bud.. Right so plastic primer it and then gloss black spray should do it will need laquer too
-
I've never bothered with lacquer. Be careful masking up the reflectors, get yourself some low tack masking tape to go on them first to stop it pulling the chrome off, then use something waterproof over that as the black will find a way through...

Koolio i had a how to somewhere how spray and what mask somewhere cant find it  so ill have to mask the reflectors off i see some guys spray that too whole headlight completely black inside :undecided:

Let me know how you get on with your lights. I really wanna do mine but slightly dubious of the quality for the replacement lenses. I've read somewhere you can't get the lenses off oe mk4 headlights without smashing them off!? So have been reluctant to even touch my lights :undecided:
