lol no silly question  for a change just a note to say thanks to all the forum members over the years mk3 and 4 who have helped with advice as i have traded in the golf and now own cough cough a civic type r  sorry lol  i have not got the time to have he vw bug lol as i couldn't do much more to the car without engine change etc and the next step is a lot more money ie bbs, air ride etc so thanks again and might just pick up a wee project to work on once i get a garage instead of the road for a workshop.
