Title: Shirts
Post by: Mk1Macca on 30 January 2012, 21:11
Ok, following on from the 'where to buy suits' thread, I need shirt help.

Where should I go?

I'm tall and skinny with long arms and want a smart shirt that fits like a slim fit, but without leaving people questioning my sexuality. My problem seems to be my long arms. Shirts fit body / neck, but are just a bit short on the old arms.

Ideally after a double cuff - oh, and i'm poor, so can't afford super posh stuff.

Thanks!

house of fraser website. check out the slim fit shirts by skopes. I needed a slim fit shirt as i have a 19 and a half inch neck but i'm not massive round the midriff. The quality is excellent and they're cheap. they start from £17.50 and it's 3 for 2 on their formal shirt at the moment.

Oh and you have to pre order them in to the nearest store or get it delivered as they don't stock them in many stores.

Sounds daft but superdry and go for some of their black label stuff if just everyday work stuff.  Super long sleeves and backs but snug tailored fit. Depends on how formal the place is you work if they are for work plus weekends with jeans ain't too bad either. Win win.

Slaters do extra long sleeves too. Think their own brand double cuff is about 20 poinds

Yep T M Levin get all my work shirts from there as I need extra long sleeves but haven't got a massive neck.
