Title: Mk6 GTI Tuning
Post by: gman86 on 30 January 2012, 15:04
'lo

I've currently got my Mk6 GTI running a Bluefin at the moment, and the bug for more power has bitten - hard. I'm not looking to go for major upgrades at the moment, as I'd like to play with the car and add stuff over time, instead of doing everything in one big go!

What are the de-facto mods in terms of:

Intakes
Downpipes
Intercoolers

Also, do the Neuspeed discharge pipes hold much credibility?

I have the same, the throttle response from the bluefin/superchips remap is great, but anymore and as you say you need to modify, esp cooling etc.
Superchips also offer a stage 2, not sure of price, but speak to KennyGTI (mk6 forum), he has revo'd his to stage 2 (300bhp) and made the necessary mods. He's great for advice
