I'm new to this but hopefully someone out there can advise me, i've been offered some BBS 7X16 ET25, will these fit a 16V which has been lowered 40mm without changing the arches, i have been told they would fit OK --- theres no tyres on them so what would do the job---195/45 ????? please help a girl out so she don't get shafted so to speak

shouldn't have too many troubles, can yopu get hold of them to try one out?

the rims are up north and i'm down south so can't really try them, why i'm asking the question is that he wants alot ov cash and i want to be sure they will fit no problem, they are RS 003 and look better than i do

I think the rears will cause a bit of a problem, I'm running 15's with 195/50 tyres on the back with an offset of ET30. The car isn't lowered at all and I've had a bit of arch scraping when driving enthusiastically along bumpy country roads. Your wheels would probably have the same rolling radius with the 45 profile tyres but the ET25 offset will mean they are sitting another 5mm further out. I think you need to try them first of be prepared to have the arches rolled.

sorry but you will have sh!t loads of trouble with them, they will scrub on the rear and the front

You'd be better of with ET35 or 38 !
