Title: whats best to buy now?
Post by: dellenty69 on 30 January 2012, 00:30
My birthday is coming and i would like a camera, i know nothing about them, and have never been interested till now.

She has said she will spend £300 on a camera for me witch i think is excellent and will probably suit all of my capability's.

We have spoken and both agreed that a new one is best but i could also get a near new conditioned one of a higher value on eBay etc.

Problem is i have seen plenty and liked them all. but all i see is numbers and digits (it seems the more numbers and digits i see, the more i like it)

It will be used for the likes of car/bike pics and maybe some pics at races.

Suggestions and links are most appreciated.

James

A basic DSLR kit is the option I would go for.

The one above is the Canon 1100D.

But here's a couple of other Canon models direct from Canon's ebay shop.
Canon 500D kit £329
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Canon-EOS-500D-18-55-refurbished-/270903722202?pt=UK_CamerasPhoto_DigitalCameras_DigitalCameras_JN&hash=item3f131ec0da (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Canon-EOS-500D-18-55-refurbished-/270903722202?pt=UK_CamerasPhoto_DigitalCameras_DigitalCameras_JN&hash=item3f131ec0da)

Canon 1100D kit (refurb) £299
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Canon-EOS-1100D-EF-S-18-55mm-F-3-5-5-6-III-refurbished-/390386101955?pt=UK_CamerasPhoto_DigitalCameras_DigitalCameras_JN&hash=item5ae4d32ec3 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Canon-EOS-1100D-EF-S-18-55mm-F-3-5-5-6-III-refurbished-/390386101955?pt=UK_CamerasPhoto_DigitalCameras_DigitalCameras_JN&hash=item5ae4d32ec3)

Canon 1000D kit £259 (the older model, but would give you change for a case/accessories)

For £30 more I'd go with the 500d. I like mine and so much so I'm gonna actually buy a new 50mm prime.

That's structure to me. In my view it's anything with molecules holding it together
