Post by: GolfGL on 18 May 2005, 21:12
just got my crystal indicator and dummy fog set from volksbits. the dummy fog fitted straight away and so i went to push in the indicator section and the spring piece doesnt seem to clip in. am i doing something wrong as i gave it some pushing and even tried to reshape the clip but with no luck. anyone else had this problem or got a solution? cheers

big bumper indicators?

I had to wrap a bit of tape round the inner tab which secured it nicely.

Did mine last night and encountered the same problem as you.
Fit the fog light first, then you need to slide a very small flat headed screw driver (such as a watch makers) in between the fog and the clip and force the clip to sit behind the fog light.
Be patiant took me about 5 mins a corner, but yes it is a bit of a b!tch.
