hi lads went out in me 20ltr 8v yesterday,stopped went in tesco came out fired it up and with 5 seconds of it runninig it started to miss fire when i asked for power,but when i took foot off the throttle a bit it picked bak up,is this the coil breaking down?
had a look at it today and it has a miss fire om tick over?

Check your plugs, leads and dizzy first m8. U been through any big puddles?

Wow 5ltr pots ha :grin: ,try another ecu relay number 30 first ,its above the fuses ,those are classic symptoms. :smiley:

lol cheers peeps,last year i put a new dizzy and rotor arm and a new coil,and by the looks of the service history plugs were done at 76000 back in 2009 she now done 104000,plus looks like factory lht leads still on it,time for a change i think.cheers for yer help guys

I've made good progress in sorting mine (I'm not going to say it's sorted yet, just in case...) by dismantling, cleaning and reassembling the earths on the earth stud under the battery tray.

This is defo worth a shot. mine went, symptoms sound the same. easy fix too! :smiley:
