Title: Removing climatronic

Hi all,

I have recently gone 1.8t and need to remove the old climatronic in the dash and too standard. Does anyone know if this is fairly simple? Can it be done as I really dont want it.

Removing it is easy but switching back to the 3 dial set up is not so easy, I believe the heater assembly is different

Cheers Wayne, does that also mean that the 3 dial A/C would not work?

I believe to get it fitted you will need to change the heater assembly as it is all different
