Title: Alarm key location?? Under bonnet?

Hi all,

I have a key to disable my alarm and thought it may be a good idea to find out where it goes before i need it in an emergency!

Any advice would be useful!

i have what looks like an orignal vag alarm and a key and yes it goes in the alarm siren under the bonnet (open rubber bung thing covering it)

One question you might be able to help me with.... how do you arm the thing in the first place?  And does yours have a senser mounted on the roof, rear window in the middle?

Cant find the key hole but did manage to unplug the siren and get the engine running, all i really need in an emergency!

I arm it by pressing the button on my key fob. (this also does the central locking which is really tempramental! it likes rain!) 

There are two sensors on the front pillars facing backwards....... now i really hope ur not going to come and pinch my car as i lurrrrrve it to bits!

PS My car is bashed to hell, unreliable wud never pass and MOT and has no bits on it worth selling... so really, dont come and nic it! :)
