Are they any good. There's some Anschier one on there website for £29.40 and with the 25% discount seems dirt cheap (under part details seem to be made by sachs) http://www.eurocarparts.com/shock-absorber
Was going to go for the gsf boge ones but these work out £39+vat each for the fronts.
Is there really going to be much noticeable difference between the two? I'm running slightly lowered springs

For the sake of 20 quid and boge has been tried and tested? Depends if you want to take it all off again get charged restocking fees for returning something cheaper for some reason?
-
The boge are going to work out £94 for the pair and the eurocarparts ones will be £44 for the pair after 25% discount.
-
The Anschler shocks are what they are.
I'd find out what we charge for the Sachs set though.
Much better quality and with the discount...
-
Pay the extra and get the Boge worth it in the long run.

What about Bilstens??
Don't Eurocar parts do them and they are an OEM supplier.
I looked at them when my lad needed new shocks... I didn't buy them as a cheap pair of German made shock's were on ebay for £28.00 & £10.00 postage so we bought them as they were only for a short term fix till he gets a GTI in a couple of months.
What ever you buy just make sure you get the complete shocks and not a stupid insert kit - I had Boge turbo inserts fitted to mine and they only lasted 3 months... Crap....So I ended up fitting VAG ones...
