So I've has my forge actuator sitting here new in its box for months now and thought id best far round to fitting it
So has anyone got a how to guide or any tips? Is it possible to fit without removing turbo?
All tips and hints welcome
Cheers

I got away with just dropping the turbo slightly and not removing it completely
basically all pipes out the way, undo the turbo support bracket bolt (holds the turbo to the block via a bracket), undo 3 bolts on the top of the manifold and turbo should drop slightly
undo 13 manifold nuts, remove manifold.
Undo oil banjo to gain access to 1 of the small bolts securing the actuator bracket, other 2 are easy to get to
Reverse
Oh and enjoy trying to find the "hidden" manifold nut, you can only access this by pushing the turbo down slightly and going in blind

Cheers for the quick response
Lovely little guide there
Is.removing the manifold necessary?:)
Its there anything I should replace whilst in that area?
Cheers

im in the same boat mate got mine here sitting next to me with one green spring, one yellow spring and 2 different brackets just in case it dont fit with the original one, ive not got the patience to do mine.

yes mate manifold needs to come off to gain access to the bolts holding the bracket on
Just one thing, make sure you push the downpipe and turbo back up when you put the 3 long bolts in to join the turbo back to the manifold, if you don't you'll cross thread the bolts (talking from experience)

Okey cheers bud appreciate the advise
What sort of hours would you put on the job providing everything goes to plan?

i reckon give yourself a whole day if you've never done anything like it before. After you've done it once, its a 2 hour job tops.
