Title: Upgrades

Hi all I’m thinking about going on the internet searching to buy a K04 Turbocharger for my 2002 1.8 T 20v 150bhp! Would there be any problem in just getting it fitted or will I have to upgrade other things? Also how much more bhp will I expect? Or shall I just get it staged 1 remapped?

I live in Poole Dorset does anybody know of the best remapping in the area? I’ve heard that Kartechnic Ltd in Poole is pretty good?
Has anybody on here got projector head lights? (WITHOUT angel eyes) NOT R32 ones but the normal projector headlights? If so are there much better than the standard headlights?

I think you will need the manifold with that and also a remap to get the most out of the turbo.
about headlights, look in the classifields and put a post in the wanted section.

As above, you'll need more than just the turbo itself and you'll definitely need it custom mapped.

As for headlights I'm running projectors without angle eyes. Without HID's they are pretty pants tbh, seeing as HID's will now fail an mot i'd say don't bother.
