Title: golf tie rod fitment

basically i have a mk4 gti it had an accident where theres some play side to side on the drivers front
wheel well ive changed trackrod end and theres still this same play in it so im wondering if it could be the tie rod its self i have never fitted one of these does it need a particular tool cheers

no m8 there easy just take off track rod end then remove the rubber gaitor and you we see a large nut just undo then its off
also check for wheel bearing , ball joint and lower arm bushes can give you play . best thing do first is get someone shake wheel and feel all the bushes, ball joint e.t.c for play as you will feel it or see movement
