hi i have got a golf gti mk5 and just had it remapped.
my question is the guy who did the work told me to buy a forge d/v with a yellow spring and a n75.
my question is what are they are they needed and can i just fit them straight onto my car.

i am new to all this so any guidance will be appreciated.

N75 intimates that he is suggesting your sensor has gone faulty and the Forge DV is good, but you could simply fit a "D" revision OEM one, which is a piston DV rather than the diaphragm DV you will probably have on the car.

I cannot understand why he told you to buy the N75 though unless he found something wrong with the car whilst mapping it and diagnosed it with VCDS (or similar)
