That's alright then, can't claim for damage if they're all messed up anyway

Have they got tyres on?
I sent alloys with tyres on via paisley freight, and I just covered the alloy face with a cut out round piece of cardboard.
They got to their destination fine :)
-
yeah! there going to sunny south wales!
but as soon as he said he would have them and called 1st dib's i had a guy saying he will come collect 2morow
Typical

Face to face with cardboard in between and then shrink wrap them in pairs.
-
They don't need to be taken in pairs or all 4 they can be left loose.
They stick a sticker on all 4.
-
if they have tyres on then just whack them in a bin liner with plenty of tape, if no tyres, wrap them alot, I used tnt to get some alloys without tyres and he advised me not to send them as if they were damaged in transit then no damages would be paid for, so I wrapped them up in recycling bags with handles (probably only have them down here) and stuffed newspaper in every place i could find and tape them up.

Christ, I wouldn't want to buy a set of wheels from some of you lot!!
Several layers of thick bubblewrap and then a cardboard sleeve to protect both the front and the back, or two layers of cardboard if the wheels are mint.
It's not just protecting the painted finish (which doesn't really matter if they need a refurb) it is also to protect against them getting buckled or chipped into the metal. This can and does happen.
