Post by: shaft69 on 24 January 2012, 22:55
3" ait feed pipe cut into bumper grill into air box, you think better and more air than dsg mod??? I know not best looking thing but think it will take in more air than dsg mod.

Could plank off the standard feed, then drill a core into the box down the side and mold in a new bigger intake which then feed to the front or lower vent. I did this, but the best I could manage was a 2.5" pipe with the battery slid to the left (drivers side) a notch, not sure you'd get a 3" in there.
