Title: Bought my Golf back!!!! Shadow of its former self.......
Post by: vwfiend on 24 January 2012, 21:10: I bought my mk4 back 2 days ago from the friend I sold it to. He was gonna break it which made me sad so had to have it back. Pretty disappointing to be fair. I drove it back to back with my Teg and there is absolutely no competition......... Except in build quality, warmth, torque etc........ Nevertheless, twas an absolute steal, £900 less than I sold it for 4000 miles ago :grin:

I tell ya what mate, whoever said Hondas are hassle free shoulda been polititions......... More issues with my Teg in 7 months than the Golf ever gave me in 2 years........ :laugh:

Post by: vwfiend on 25 January 2012, 23:10: Dunno really...... Im gonna put a mate in it and have me in the Teg to see how much difference there is in a straight line. If the Teg rapes it then ill take off the fmic, ko3s exhaust etc and put on a stage 1 map and use it for a day to day as it currently drinks fuel like its goin outta fashion. If it does ok then ill take off ze coilovers and put on decent sgocks and springs, change the rims and see how it handles. At the moment it feels like a shopping trolley compared to the R..... Cant believe how im still alive how i used to sling it into corners...... :laugh:
