Title: Don't no wots going on with my mk2 8v!!! Help please

Just finished work started my car and it was idiling really lumpy!
Set off for home and wen u put your foot down fine, comes to cruising
And it's sounds like its farting and jugging, put foot down again accelerates fine,
Then I noticed that its eating fuel!!! Wot the hell is going on with it? Any help much
