had my car for about 3weeks now and its totally standard ride height and needs lowered asap. lets face it standard height gti is like a 4x4 :laugh:
basically want the car decked but not so much that its hard to live with. i drive a lot during the week and ideally wouldn't want to loose to much of the comfort it has just now.
any help would be great cheers
ps budget is about 350-400.

Good quality spring and shock kit is the best choice.

Cheers for the link. Good info I didn't know about the arb and driveshaft!
Looking like shocks and springs. Be as well upgrading the front arb while I'm lowering it and fit a rear arb also.
Quick question. Why is it some mk4's that are quite low the rear wheel look like they are slid forwards? Like this pic
