Title: Pipe covered in oil. AGU
Post by: james2 on 23 January 2012, 17:57
what this pipes code. It comes out under inlet manifold down to a T connector then one runs to oil filter and the other up to engine breather .Its covered in oil around the T connector.

Looks like PCV valve.

Check the pipe from inlet for any leaks and the plastic pipe from block with sometimes becomes brittle.

the blue pipe looks like its had oil sprayed on it .It could be the pipe that comes out of inlet ,as its next to the blue pipe. I couldnt see or find a split. I want a new T connector and the pipe that goes to inlet and maybe the plastic one that goes to oilfilter.  :undecided:

Why not just remove the T valve? NUmber 5.  And cap the boost from inlet?

Remove 5 and connect part #2 to part # 9 with a bit rubber pipe

The pipe that goes to the oil filter, is it full of oil.? I was going to sell the car had it ,parts way to much. And common parts that fail cost a bomb.
