Title: Lamin-x front and rear lights
Post by: ScottA on 22 January 2012, 21:44
Hi,

Has anyone done this?

I thought it would be a good way to make the headlights and rear lights look a bit darker similar to ED35/R on the GTI's

These are pre cut for the rear lights http://www.lamin-x.com/VW-GTI-VI-2010-Tail-Light-Covers-p/vw226.htm

Cheers,
Scott

What !! why would anyone who has spent over 20K on their pride and joy want to tint the rear lights "darker" thus making the car more difficult to see when driving at night, and when indicating a turn ? or am I missing something ??

It would be a very light tint, similar to ED35/R lights ...... Lamin X is very highly regarded on lots of forums.
