OK, so i'd quite like to put a (black) leather interior in my 1990 5dr Gti?
what's the best way of going about it?? ie. finding one to start with!? and putting it in? is it an easy job??
any information would be most helpful
thanks...

yes its a piece of piss to fit. finding one though is not as easy, be prepared to pay around 400-500 for a complete (seats & doorcards) VAG mk2 leather interior

Thats what this site is for mate. asking questions
First ask a leather trimmer to give you a quote. Heard some places charge 300 quid for a trim these days!
place an add in the 'wanted' sections of VW forums

i had full leather in my old 16v, oddly enough i didnt really like it black with dark blue piping, the car always felt empty and echoey if you can understand that.

for 300 quid it'll be leather faced or a sh!t job. it should cost that in leather alone!

£300 for lether. Bargain. I would have expected second hand parts to cost more than that.
