Title: New GTi owner here, well sort off
Post by: Panthera on 21 January 2012, 16:47
Hi all GTi owners,

Last Sunday I sold my second Volvo S60R in favour of something cheaper to run. Returning no more then 21mpg was starting to bankrupt me, not to mention the main dealer charges. I thought about looking at mk5 Golf GTi's and after pretty much a whole week of searching Autotrader, Piston Heads and the likes I see a Golf GTi that I liked. This morning I went to view the car at the garage (VW) and after a good look around and a long test drive, I liked it so much I put a deposit down on it. Its  '57' plate Golf GTi 5 dr in graphite blue. Its has 43000 on the clock and it has got a few extras like cruise control and ipod connection. So I am happy. I pick the car up next Saturday.  This is my first VW so I have a lot to learn about them.

Where I live I have Vindis in Bedford, Wayside In MK and TTS (VAG specialists in Kempston).  Plus I know of a good friend who works at VW head quarters in MK.

Thats me.
Darren
