Title: Am I losing my mind or has my Golf lost power?

Hello all!

This is really strange and I think i'm losing my mind. I bought a Golf GT TDi 140 on Wednesday and for some reason it seems to have gotten slower since then. When I first drove it, the power was just staggering. It still has the same boost in 2nd as before. But I am pretty sure that it had much more boost/power when accelerating from 40-60. Am I just losing my mind and getting used to the power or is there anything I can check?

Also I noticed you can see wiring coming from the back of the accelerator pedal, is this normal?

get codes checked. could have a boost leak some were?

What was your old car? Placebo effect? :undecided:

Could be. My old car was a Corsa 1.2, so possibly yes. Just been driving it around using fuel from a Total garage instead of supermarket stuff and it seems to have regained it's boost. How strange.

Supermarket fuel is sh!te! Just full of chemicals, try to avoid them unless in danger of running out!
